| SS Custom Calls is very proud to introduce our new line of diaphragm calls for the 2012 turkey season. For the past year we have been working hand in hand with one of the countries leading mouth call designers to produce a small line of our very own custom diaphragms that meet the SS Custom Calls standard for quality and true turkey sound. We have been through many, many prototypes and narrowed it down to four main calls which we feel are 100% turkey killers. Please take the time to read each description and decide which calls will be right for your needs. We have done our best to describe each call as best we can and every hunter calls differently, so if you have any questions please feel free to give us a call. | SS Hitman The SS Hitman was designed as a fantastic, all around, general purpose call. It delivers great yelps, cuts, clucks and soft talk. This call requires minimal air pressure to run. The Hitman is a three reed latex call with a right hand “ship wreck” style cut in the top reed. This call is a proven killer and very easy to use. |
| SS PAYDIRT The SS Paydirt was designed to be in the middle ground of the SS mouth call line. This call is plenty capable of delivering the old raspy “boss hen” type of yelp, but don’t be fooled, if you change tongue pressure it cleans up nicely into a fairly clean two note yelp. The call has a double batwing hybrid cut over two very thin latex reeds. The Paydirt is a very versatile call that is capable of a variety of different yelps as well as all other turkey talk. |
| SS Prospector The SS Prospector was designed as the most aggressive call in the line. It has the tightest stretch, thickest reeds and requires a touch more air to run. The Prospector is designed for loud yelps, cuts & clucks. It is a fantastic call for locating birds or for use on windy days; however, this call is still capable of putting the finishing touches on any turkey hunt. The Prospector is a three reed latex call with a split V top reed and slightly clipped corners. The clipped corners give the call a touch more clarity on the front end. This is a “must have” call for the run & gun turkey hunter. |
| SS SWEETHEART The SS Sweetheart was designed with soft calling in mind. The Sweetheart is still capable of solid yelps & cuts, but the soft calling is where this call really shines. The purrs, whines & soft clucks are just amazing. This call has a batwing style top reed over two very thin latex reeds with a light stretch. The Sweetheart could be just the finishing call you are looking for. |
